I’m trying to connect my Philips Wiz bulb A60 E27 to lumia, however it isn’t being detected whatsoever.
So my question is, am I doing something wrong or is it not supported?
There are two choices for Wiz on lumia, I tried them both, same issue.
Is there a way around this?
Have you connected the bulb with the Wiz app?
- Make sure that your computer and your Wiz device are connected directly to the same router and no switch or similar network device in between.
- If you have a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network, please turn this off. Sometimes 2.4 GHz devices do not get along with it.
- Connect your computer to the network via Wi-Fi. Sometimes routers block the detection of Ethernet to Wi-Fi and vice versa.
You can also temporarily install Lumia Stream on a laptop and connect it to the router. However, please do not use 2 Lumia Stream instances at the same time.
If you find your devices with this method, then you can switch back to an Ethernet connection.
Eventually you want to hard reset the bulb and connect it from scratch.
